Timothy Carmello is an American actor, writer and director. At sixteen years of age, his professional performance career began at Sesame Place Amusement Park, and he quickly learned how lucrative and sweaty show business can be. Timothy received his education and training at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and Goldsmith's College of London. During his studies Timothy impressed with performances as Lucio in "Measure for Measure", Uncle Peck in "How I Learned to Drive" and the Sergeant of Police in "The Pirates of Penzance".  Immediately after his formal schooling, Timothy worked as a performer in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, PA and Camden, New Jersey. Favorite professional roles include Proteus in "The Two Gentlemen of Verona", and Tom in Christopher Durang's "For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls". Philadelphia credits include: Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival's 2007 repertory season, two seasons with Enchantment Theater's National Touring Companies, two Philadelphia Fringe Festival entries as a performer and writer with Tribe of Fools, and twenty Fun With Eggs Sketch Comedy productions as a performer, director, writer and producer.

In 2010, Timothy Carmello took his talents to NYC and over the past fifteen years his work appeared at: Dixon Place, The Tank Theater, Brick Theater, Sophies At Broadway, The Culture Project, Columbia University and QED. From 2012-2016, he trained extensively with Anne Bogart's SITI Company, and even gained admission to their 2014 Conservatory Program. He continues to write, direct, and perform and will make his return to NYC stages in the Chain Theater’s Winter Short Play Festival.
